/ DAY 02 : ARRIVAL KUALA LUMPUR
Arrival
at Kuala Lumpur International Airport, where you will meet your
guide in the arrival hall. Assisted transfer to the Kuala Lumpur
city centre and check-in to your hotel.
In
the afternoon (approx 1400hrs), we take a CityTour of Kuala
Lumpur - Malaysia's capital city. This is where the old blends into
the new and where rustic charm meets modern sophistication - indeed
a delightful mix of cross-cultural influences.
Among
the highlights of the tour is a visit to the King's Palace
(photo stop), National Mosque- famed for its star-shaped
dome; the historic Railway Station (photo stop) and the Sultan
Abdul Samad building (photo stop) fondly remembered for its
Moorish architecture. We then travel to see the historic sites of
the National Monument, Independence Square and Selangor
Club (photo stop). Next we take a photo stop at the world's
tallest twin tower - Petronas Twin Towers which will bring
you back to the present and modern Kuala Lumpur ! Overnight . Hotel

/ DAY 03 : KUALA LUMPUR ( B,L )
Breakfast
at the hotel. At 0900hrs we depart by coach to Malacca ,
located 160 kilometers south of Kuala Lumpur. Malacca is the most
important historical landmark in the country. Founded by Parameswara,
a Hindu Prince from Palembang. The Portuguese, Dutch and English
also ruled Malacca. The ruins and building of these conquerors can
still be seen today, blending with the fast developing but careful
planed township. Visit St. Peter's Church (1710) - the oldest
Christian Church still in use in Malaysia. Drive past the largest
17th century Chinese cemetery outside of China, located at Bukit
China or Chinese Hill. Stop at the foothill to view the Sultan's
Well before driving through the Portuguese Settlement.
Proceed
to view the famous gateway, 'Porta De Santiago' and the ruins
of St. Paul's Church lined by 17th century Dutch tombstones. Next
on the list is "Red Square" - the salmon pink Dutch administrative
buildings which today houses the Malacca Museum and government offices.
Visit Christchurch before stopping for lunch, we visit the
"Abode Merciful Clouds' or the Cheng Hoon Teng Temple - the
only temple where you can find 3 major doctrines of local Chinese
belief under the same roof, viz: Taoism, Buddhism and Confucianism.
After
lunch we take a stroll along Malacca's Jonker Street,
which ends by the banks of the Malacca River before returning to
your coach and proceed to Kuala Lumpur . Expected arrival time in
Kuala Lumpur at 1600hrs , direct transfer to hotel and free at leisure

/ DAY 04 : KUALA LUMPUR - CAMERON HIGHLANDS ( B )
Breakfast
at hotel . Depart by 08:30 hours for Cameron Highland, which
is located at 1542 meters above sea level. Famed for its tea plantations
and cool temperatures. On the way, we will stop and visit a basket
weaving cottage industry, a native settlement and Lata
Iskandar Waterfall. Enjoy the wonderful scenery and cool, crisp
air of Cameron Highlands.
Our
tour of the island also includes a visit to a tea plantation,
tea factory, market place and butterfly farm.

at hotel . Depart for Penang. Enroute, visit the Sam Poh
Tong Cave Temple in Ipoh, the Ubudiah Mosque, Iskandariah
Palace and Istana Kenangan. Cross over to Penang using
the fifth longest bridge in the world and arrive in Penang at 1830

at hotel . At 0900 hours, we will proceed for a City, Culture,
and Heritage tour. On the tour we visit the 3rd longest Reclining
Buddha in the world, next is the Botanical Gardens which
offers lush green surroundings with a wide variety of tropical plants
and native bird life. Visit the Kek Lok Si Temple built in
1904 and which is one of the most beautiful and largest Buddha Temple
Complex in South East Asia. Kek Lok Si Temple is known as the Temple
of 1000 Buddhas. Continue to the old part of Georgetown where
the Khoo Kong Si Clan House is located. Enjoy a breezy
trishaw ride before returning to your hotel and having the
rest of the day at leisure.
In
the late evening, you can explore the nightlife along Batu Ferringhi,

at hotel . We will depart at 08:30 hours, travelling from the West
to the East Peninsular Our journey will take us through the main
mountain range offering breathtaking views of the tropical rain
forest. Take a rest stop at Banding Island Resort, a
remote resort over looking the scenic Temenggor Lake.
Arrive
at your Hotel in the evening, where we suggest you visit the open

/ DAY 08 : KOTA BAHRU - TERENGGANU ( B )

at hotel . At 0830 hours, we start the day with a visit to the colourful
wet market and visit traditional cottage industries
like the silver handicraft, songket weaving, kite making and top
spinning. Drive along the coast and taste keropok (famous local
chips). Stop at Pulau Duyong, known for its traditional boat
making and visit a brassware making shop and local handicraft centre
before arriving at Terengganu.
Visit
the Losong Museum, which was built in a traditional architectural
style. The museums highlight is the section showing Royal Heritage

Pass by the Floating Mosque and the oil town of Kerteh. Visit
the Marang Fishing Village and Turtle Information Centre.
Enroute, taste the "lemang," rice cooked in bamboo and be a guest
of a local community for afternoon tea.
In
the afternoon we continue with our tour of Cherating, where
the main attractions are coconut plucking, mengkuang leaves being

/ DAY 10: KUANTAN - TAMAN NEGARA NATIONAL PARK ( B ,D )

at hotel . We depart from your hotel to Kuala Tembeling, for the
approximate 3.5 hours journey before we board a motorised longboat
for another 3 hours to Kuala Tahan, the headquarters of Taman
Negara. On arrival at Kuala Tembeling, please proceed to register
yourself with the National Park and Wildlife Department. The longboat
departs at 1400 hours. Enroute you will be passing by local villages
and lush tropical rainforest. Any sightings of birds,
monkeys, monitor lizards or water buffaloes are a bonus. Sighting
of wildlife cannot be guaranteed due to the dense and huge area
of Taman Negara (4343 sq km). Expected arrival at Kuala Tahan is
1700 hours. Register at the reception of Taman Negara Resorts, at
leisure till 2000hrs where your Nature guide will meet you
for your night activity.
Your
first adventure will be a night jungle walk in the 130 million
years old tropical rainforest. We will be on a look-out for
nocturnal insects amidst the chorus of the rainforest. Overnight

to bring: A pair of walking shoes with rubber base, a hat or cap,
sun tan or block lotion, small water proof rucksack, insect repellent,

/ DAY 11 : TAMAN NEGARA ( B,D )
Breakfast
at the resort . Accompaned by our Nature guide we take a
jungle walk up Teresik Hill. This walk takes us further
into the national park. Your guide will highlight to you the rich
flora found en route. At the top of Teresik Hill, enjoy a panoramic
view of the tropical rainforest and on a clear day, see Mount
Tahan, the highest mountain in Peninsular Malaysia. Before returning
to the base, we will go on a canopy walkway, built 40 metres
above the ground and 450 metres in length. From the walkway you
will experience the rainforest from a different perspective, as
you will be closer to the top of the trees!
This
afternoon, we will take a motorised boat to the Lubuk
Tenor Fish Sanctuary where a fascinating fish feeding experience
awaits. Lubuk Tenor, is blessed with clear water (unless there is
recent heavy rain) and the large shoal's of fish is the result of
a successful eco tourism project involving local villagers and the
Government to create fish sanctuaries. Continue on to the cataracts
of Lata Berkoh and enjoy the deep pool, which is delightful
for swimming, resting or reading on the rocky area overlooking the

at the resort . The boat for Kuala Tembeling departs at 0900hrs.
This journey will take about 2 to 3 hours, depending on the water
level of the river. The transfer to Kuala Lumpur will depart by
1200 hours, expected arrival time at your hotel in Kuala Lumpur
city centre is between 1530hrs to 1600hrs. Direct transfer to hotel
